The Millionaire's Revenge Page 17
“You two really are identical,” Frankie commented as she looked from one man to the other, bringing him out of his musings. “Better make sure I don’t take the wrong one home with me tonight.”
Rafe cleared his throat. “Speaking of which”—he patted Frankie’s stomach—“we got started a little early on that creating a family thing.”
Luke smiled and tried to keep the emotion that welled inside him in check. He knew, without a doubt, his niece or nephew would be brought up with love to a family that truly wanted them. He grabbed his brother into a hug, feeling the years of estrangement slip away before he pulled Frankie in for another hug. “I’m going to be an uncle. That’s amazing.”
“I’m hoping for twins. Lord knows, we have enough support to survive having two at once.” Frankie beamed. Maybe it was that whole glowing pregnancy thing he’d heard about.
A flash went through his mind of Grace being pregnant. Something he swore he’d never do that now seemed not only doable, but he looked forward to. He glanced from Grace to Frankie and recognized how lucky he and Rafe were for finding women who loved them unconditionally. Everything seemed to come full circle in that moment. Because of Grace he’d welcome and love any children they had, the way a father should.
“You’re going to stay for a few days, aren’t you?” Rafe asked as someone yanked on his arm.
“Absolutely.” Why he’d let this rift grow between Rafe and him all those years, he’d never understand. But things were different now. Everything came into focus, and he owed that to Grace.
“Good. Maybe you can give us some pointers on the build-out of the restaurant.”
“I’ve already got some ideas written down on the plans you sent me.”
“Did I mention your matrons of honor? They were quiet lively.” Grace laughed.
Rafe smiled. “Lord help us when they give their toast. They’ll probably open their favorite book and share some quotes.”
“And that is?”
“Fifty Shades of Gray,” Frankie responded through her snickers. “I know they look innocent. They have a wicked but fun side to them.”
“The reception could get very interesting,” Luke added.
“Oh no, the Bookclub Ladies are headed your way. Be prepared for pretty much anything,” Rafe muttered as he grasped Frankie’s hand and whisked her away.
“I like it here.” Grace snuggled into his arm as they strolled toward the trees in back. “Maybe we could vacation here instead of visiting my mom in France.”
“Something to think about. Or maybe this is the perfect place for our own wedding.” Right there, in the middle of the chaos, he bent down on one knee.
“Grace Wilson, because of you, I’ve become a better man. You’ve opened my eyes to how good life can be and I’m so lucky to have met you. Every minute I spend with you, I fall deeper and deeper in love. You’re my life. My love. My everything. I can’t imagine spending my life anywhere but with you in our home filled with love and children and happiness. Please say you’ll be my wife.”
The icing on the cake was she said yes.

Acknowledgments
Once I finished The Millionaire’s Deception I knew Luke needed a story as well and The Millionaire’s Revenge was born. That makes it sound simple, but writing a book never goes according to plan. Thanks to my wonderful editor, Robin Haseltine, and her tireless support of my writing even when I was ready to give up on Grace and Luke’s story. Robin stuck with me until I figured it out. She helped me fine-tune a hot mess into a wonderful story.
Thanks to the entire Entangled staff for making a complicated process look easy. You guys rock!
